OCC Lewis Center is a complete renovation of an existing 33,400 square foot classroom building.  Building interior work includes complete replacement of all Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical systems to comply with current technology and energy standards, replacement of the existing elevator, replacement of the existing building skylight to meet current energy standards, replacement of the existing storefront systems, addition of a new interior two story curtain wall system and provisions for new laboratory classrooms including Geology, Chemistry, Physics and marine Biology laboratories.  Exterior work includes the addition of a new two story stair, balcony and canopy system to provide second floor exterior building access, the addition of a new exterior mechanical equipment yard and the addition of a variety of hardscape and site lighting features.
